Just by playing you'll slowly accumulate gear boxes and currency making gearing up a new ascended set dirt cheap. Not even mentioning that for the most part, exotic armor is a perfectly viable option for the vast majority of content. I don't remember the last time i've struggled to gear a char with ascended armor.
The easiest method to get marauder trinkets is grinding map currency on the season 3 maps. bloodstone fen - neck, backpiece, ringember bay - backpiece, trinketlake doric - neckbitterfrost - backpiece, ring, trinket. the other two arent really worth dealing with for these. I just wonder - can I craft ascended gear with stats or buy it from the trading post? Or only way to acquire it is from PvP, fractals and raids? Thanks for answers. PS: Buy recipies of tp to save laurels (and often a lot of gold)

Raid drops: The final chest at the end of Raid encounters will often give Ascended gear. Merchants: Laurels: Can buy Ascended rings, earrings necklaces and even infusions from Laurel vendors. Fractals, PvP and WvW vendors: You can buy all types of gear in these vendors, but for weapon and Armor you'll require GrandMaster Marks. If you're still early on in the game, consider just sticking with exotic gear. As you play the game you'll just naturally acquire lots of the materials you need, as well as the money you'll need to buy anything you're missing. Ascended gear is nice, but it's only like a 5% stat boost -- it's not worth wearing yourself out for.
